Orange Wine Pinela Sveti Martin – Vipava Valley, Slovenia

Vinification: Maceration takes place for 14 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Fermentation on yeast for about 20 days. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 24 months in oak barrels. Unfiltered. Ageing potential: 2021 – 2026.

Characteristics: Deep straw colour. Full-bodied orange wine, balanced with a hint of honey, apple and apricot. The aftertaste is long and intense.

Food pairings: Pairs well with grilled lamb, pasta or risotto with seafood. We also recommend you to try it with soft sheep milk cheeses with olive oil and walnuts. To serve at 12 – 14° C.
