Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil SOPOTNIK. Early harvest olive oil, cold-pressed within a few hours after harvesting and obtained solely by mechanical means.
The olive trees of the Sopotnik family grow at the northernmost latitude of the Slovenian Adriatic Coast. Olives are picked by hand and cold-pressed the same day to retain both freshness and flavor. Olive oil Sopotnik is an exceptionally intense couvee of many cultivars. Istrian Belica is the most predominant, with other varieties including Leccino, Pendolino, Frantoio, Buga, and Crnica.
This tough and spicy olive oil with strong aromatic flavors of lemon, green peppercorns and bell pepper, pairs well with any rich food such as grilled meat or fish, stews, spaghetti bolognese, paella, and more. Olive oil Sopotnik will add freshness and strength to your meal, accentuate the rich flavor, and leave a short but distinct aftertaste.
