Red Wine Prinčič Pinot Noir – Goriška Brda, Slovenia

Vinification: Hand harvested grapes are destemmed and macerated for 20 days, classically with cap dipping. The remaining wine maturation and aging takes place in 225 L oak barrels for six months.

Characteristics: The wine is ruby red in color with brick reflections. It has a ripe fruit aroma with pleasant tannins, and is full-bodied with a long and warm finish. 

Food pairings: Duck breast, tuna, mushroom risotto, smoked salmon    Serving temperature: 14-16 °C
