Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil KYKLOPAS Premium Selection - Alexandroupolis, Greece

This single-variety extra virgin olive oil is produced from Makri olives with very low acidity. Environmental controls are applied throughout cultivation and production, with a focus on minimal intervention and consistency.

The olives come from groves certified organic by the Greek Organization for the Inspection and Certification of Organic Products (DIO) and are harvested mid to late October. Milling takes place the same day at an organically certified olive mill to preserve freshness and aromatic clarity.

The aromatic profile shows medium to high fruitiness, defined by green olive, green banana, artichoke, and freshly cut grass. The nose is clean and vegetal, without ripe or fermented notes.

On the palate, the oil is balanced and precise, with moderate bitterness and controlled pungency. The structure supports the aromatics rather than overpowering them, resulting in a clean, fresh finish.

This oil is suited to raw use and finishing, where its freshness and varietal character are most apparent. It pairs well with vegetables, legumes, grains, fish, and mild cheeses.
