Organic Orange Wine Malvasia - Korenika & Moškon - Istra, Slovenia

Vinification: 15 days of maceration. Fermentation: indigenous yeasts; malolactic fermentation with indigenous bacteria. Maturation: 10 months on the yeast in oak barrels, total in barrels 18 months. The wine is unfiltered. 

Characteristics: The wine has a deeper amber color. The bouquet is intense, smelling of pine resin, dried apricots, earth and grated apples. Real orange wine, dry, salty, lower acid and oily texture. Stronger, a little bitter, with an intense taste and an even longer aftertaste. The taste in the mouth is very varied and persistent.

Food pairings: Perfect for grilled fish or steak. To serve at 10 - 12 °C.
