Coppola Pesto Siciliano - Salerno, Italy

Coppola Pesto Siciliano with Sun-dried Tomatoes (6x180g) made with crushed Italian sundried tomatoes, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts, and cheese. This pesto recipe originates from the Sicilian isle in southern Italy.

Awarded 2-star at Great Taste Awards.
Judge’s comment:“Thick and chunky, this sauce is packed full of sundried tomatoes with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The flavour of the herbs, cheese and garlic give a wonderful added depth to the already umami rich tomatoes. The tomatoes have a good bite and the oil seems very light.”

Perfect for pasta, soups, gravies, casseroles, and cooked vegetables.

Coppola Pesto Siciliano with Sun-dried Tomatoes (6x180g) is:

    • made with 55% Italian sundried tomatoes
    • gluten free certified
    • with no sugar or sweeteners added
    • free from thickeners, preservatives, colourings, and artificial flavours
    • packed in glass jars with BPA free lid

Good to know: The Italian word pesto means “to pound,” “to crush,” and refers to the original method of preparation. In this method, you crush or grind the ingredients in a marble mortar using a circular motion of a wooden pestle.
