Red Wine Constantini Cabernet Franc Eminent – Goriška Brda, Slovenia

Vinification: Hand harvesting of selected grapes at full ripeness in October. Gentle handling of grapes and must. Maceration: 14 days on the skins in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation is completed in stainless steel tanks. Maturing in 225L oak barrels (barrique) for 3 years. Wine is not filtered. 

Characteristics: Intense ruby red color. An elegant, medium- to full-bodied wine with complex aromas of black cherries, red fruit, paprika, pepper, oak notes. Smooth tannins, harmonious and persistent taste with a pleasant freshness, mineral notes in finish, and long aftertaste. We recommend opening the bottle about one hour prior to tasting the wine. The aroma is fully developed through the process of decanting.

Food pairings: Ravioli with salvia, game terrine, Florentine steak, venishon fillet in wine sauce, wild boar cutlet, mature cheeses. Serving temperature: 18 °C.
