Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at MEDITERRANEAN. We are committed to delivering quality Mediterranean food and wines. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. Perishable Goods (Food & Drink)

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for perishable items once they have shipped. This includes claims for:

  • Spoilage
  • Damage in transit
  • Late delivery
  • Unattended or incorrectly addressed deliveries

Shipping Freshness Guarantee:
We guarantee that all food and drink products are shipped with a minimum of 30 days before their expiration date to ensure freshness and quality.


2. Non-Perishable Items

Non-perishable items (e.g., accessories, utensils) may be returned within 14 days of receipt if:

  • They are unused and in original packaging
  • You contact us in advance for return authorization

To return your product, you should mail your product to our store address: MEDITERRANEAN Store, Trubarjeva 46, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a fulfillment error.


3. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement. After that, orders are processed and cannot be modified or cancelled.


4. Refunds

Refunds are only issued for approved returns of non-perishable goods. Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

If your refund is approved, it will equal your payment amount minus our transaction fees, which range from 5 to 10 percent of the order total. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund is approved, then it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days.

If you haven’t received your approved refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
