White Wine Zelen Sveti Martin – Vipava Valley, Slovenia
Vinification: Maceration takes place for 1-2 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Fermentation on yeast for about 20 days. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 6 months in oak barrels.
Characteristics: Medium intense, straw with greenish hues. Flavour is typical, intense. Floral and herbal aromas predominate, with fruit aromas (peach) perceptible in the background. Taste is pleasant, harmonious, unobtrusive. The body is medium, the wine looks fresh due to its minerality. The aftertaste is relatively long, clean, elegant.
Food pairings: White meat, all kinds of fish, seafood, pasta, vegetable plates. To serve at 10 – 12° C.
