Red Wine Barbera Sveti Martin – Vipava, Slovenia
Vinification: Maceration takes place for 20 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 12 months in oak barrels. Unfiltered. Ageing potential: 2021 – 2026.
Characteristics: Deep red ruby with purple. Intense notes of fruit in all its variations (crunchy, ripe and in spirit), undergrowth, wild spices. Taste is fresh and round, very drinkable and soft, with a long persistence.
Food pairings: Good for red meat stew, pasta bolognese, aged cheeses. To serve at 14 – 16° C.
