Organic Orange Wine Sulne – Slovenia, Istra, Korenika & Moškon
Vinification: 45 days on skins (maceration), without pressing. Fermentation: inox (stainless steel), indigenous yeasts; malolactic fermentation with indigenous bacteria. Maturation: 12 months on the yeast in oak barrels, total in barrels: 6 years. The wine is unfiltered. Production: biodynamic – certification Demeter. Ageing potential: 2020 –2030
Characteristics: The wine is a deep amber color. The bouquet is intense, slightly oxidising, smells of nuts and caramel, but it is beautiful, nice. Dry wine with higher acids tastes like vanilla and coffee in the mouth, it is slightly tannic.
Food pairings: Good for barbecue, pasta, steak. To serve at 10 – 12 °C.
