Organic Red Wine Kortinca Korenika & Moškon – Istra, Slovenia
Vinification: 25 days maceration. Fermentation: inox (stainless still), indigenous yeasts, malolactic fermentation with indigenous bacteria. Maturation: 6 years in French oak barrels. Aging potential: 2019–2029
Characteristics: The color is deep ruby. The bouquet indicates a fully ripened wine and is reminiscent of undergrowth, earth, vanilla, caramel. Dry, strong wine, tannins are completely softened, acids are still abundant. The wine is very fruity, vanilla predominates in the aftertaste, it should be drunk slowly.
Food pairings: Good with steak, matured cheeses or by itself. To serve at 16 – 18°C.

Kortinca is an exceptional wine, I really liked it so much. The bouquet is magic. The first sip reveals a dry and strong wine, a complex and well-balanced. I highly recommend this wine, a true 5-star thing!
