White Wine Cultus Pinot Blanc – Vipava Valley, Slovenia
Vinification: 5 days maceration in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 20 months in oak barrels. The wine is unfiltered and contains a minimum amount of sulfites.
Characteristics: The wine is wonderfully elegant, complex and yet very harmonious in itself. It begins with a very inviting aroma of dried fruits, caramel and a little vanilla. The wine tastes creamy and fruity with lots of peach and nectarine along with a hazelnut note. It has a long-lasting and pleasant aftertaste that lingers on the back of the mouth.
Food pairing: Pairs well with vegetarian, fish, chicken and pasta dishes and spicy food. To serve at 12-14° C.
